Standards of Conduct for Everyone Who Uses Surely
Effective Date: September 15, 2026
These Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) describe the conduct that Surely Networks, LLC (“Surely Networks,” “Surely,” “we,” “us”) expects from everyone who uses the Surely application and related services across all interfaces — cloud, desktop, and mobile — together with the Surely Networks websites (collectively, the “Services”). These Guidelines are incorporated into, and form part of, the Surely Terms of Use. A violation of these Guidelines is a violation of the Terms and may result in the suspension or termination of your account and any other remedy available to Surely Networks.
Surely exists to help individuals and organizations capture what matters, give their AI and the people they rely on clear direction, and move forward. These Guidelines apply equally to individual users, to organization administrators who provision Surely for others, and to anyone using the Services on another’s behalf. Where you use Surely under an Enterprise License Agreement, that agreement may set additional or different acceptable-use terms for your organization.
1. Authenticity and Accounts
Do not impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization. Do not create or use an account under a false identity, or use another person’s identifying information or credentials without their authorization. Do not create or operate multiple accounts to evade a suspension or to manipulate the Services. Do not use bots, scripts, or other automated means to create accounts or interact with the Services except through interfaces or programmatic access we authorize.
2. Respectful Engagement
Do not use the Services to threaten, harass, intimidate, stalk, or incite violence against any person, including other users, our staff, or individuals whose information appears in your or another user’s brain. Do not upload, generate, or transmit content that is unlawfully discriminatory, defamatory, or that constitutes unlawful hate speech directed at a person or group based on a protected characteristic. Do not use the Services to organize or facilitate harassment of any person.
3. Lawful Use of Data and Connected Sources
Surely lets you connect data sources — such as email, calendars, documents, files, and meeting transcripts — and processes that data to build and operate your brain.
- Only connect data you own or that you are authorized to connect and process. Do not ingest, upload, or process another person’s or organization’s data without the right to do so.
- Respect the rights of third parties whose information may appear in your connected sources, including their privacy and confidentiality rights and any applicable data-protection obligations.
- Comply with the terms of service of any third-party service you connect to Surely (for example, an email or document provider). Do not use a connection to circumvent that service’s access controls or usage limits.
4. No Spam, Malware, or Abuse of Sharing Features
Do not use Surely’s messaging, collaboration, sharing, or connected-brain features to send bulk, unsolicited, duplicative, or automated messages, to distribute unlawful content, or to transmit malware, phishing content, or deceptive links. Do not use the Services to send commercial solicitations that the recipient has not agreed to receive.
5. Skills, Routines, Knowledge Packs, and Marketplace Conduct
Surely allows users, partners, and organizations to create, install, and share skills, routines, agents, and knowledge packs. If you create or distribute any of these, you agree that:
- It must be accurate, lawful, and not designed to deceive, defraud, or harm users;
- It must not contain malicious code or prompts, or be designed to exfiltrate, alter, or access another user’s data, brain, or account without authorization;
- It must not infringe any intellectual-property or other right, and you must have the rights necessary to distribute it and any content it includes; and
- You must clearly and accurately describe what it does, including any data it accesses or actions it takes.
6. AI Integrity and No Manipulation
Do not attempt to manipulate, “jailbreak,” or misuse Surely’s AI systems, prompts, guardrails, or configuration to generate content that violates these Guidelines or applicable law. Do not use the Services, or any output of the Services, to develop or train a competing artificial-intelligence model or product, or to scrape or reconstruct data underlying the Services. Do not misrepresent AI Output as human-authored, professionally reviewed, or authoritative when it is not. (See the AI Disclosure Statement.)
7. Data Integrity and Security
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, brain, or data on the Services. Do not attempt to re-identify any individual from aggregated or de-identified data. Do not introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or attempt to interfere with, disable, or overburden the Services. Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services except through an authorized responsible-disclosure channel, if one is published.
8. Intellectual Property and Legal Compliance
Do not upload, generate, or transmit content that infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right, or that you do not have the right to share. Do not upload or transmit content that is unlawful or obscene, or that violates any applicable law.
9. Additional Expectations for Organization and Administrator Accounts
If you provision, administer, or manage Surely on behalf of an organization — including provisioning a brain that is later claimed by, or handed over to, an individual, or leasing scoped rights to external users:
- You must have the authority to do so and to bind the organization to these Guidelines and the applicable agreement;
- You must ensure that authorized users under your account or organization comply with these Guidelines;
- You must respect the rights and reasonable expectations of the individuals whose brains you provision, including any consent, notice, or handover terms set out in your agreement and in our Privacy Policy; and
- You must not use administrator controls to access or misuse an individual’s content beyond what your agreement and applicable law permit.
10. Reporting Violations
If you believe another user has violated these Guidelines, please report it to support@surelynetworks.com. We review reports and take action we deem appropriate in our discretion, which may include warning, limiting, suspending, or terminating an account, and, where warranted, reporting conduct to law enforcement.
11. Enforcement
Surely Networks has sole discretion to determine whether conduct violates these Guidelines and to determine the appropriate consequence, which may include content removal, feature restriction, warning, suspension, or termination of access to the Services, without prior notice in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, security risk, or harm.
12. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines from time to time consistent with the Terms of Use. The most current version will always be available through the Services.
